Adiabatic Cooling
Use outdoor air to improve summer conditions in production areas. Start with temperature and humidity, rather than a nominal cooling figure.

A production hall becomes too warm in summer
Roof and process heat make a large production hall uncomfortable. The operator wants cooler air during working hours rather than precise temperature control throughout the building. In this illustrative application, adiabatic cooling is considered where local summer conditions and an adequate air discharge route make it suitable.
Cooling through water evaporation
Outdoor air passes through wetted pads. Some water evaporates, reducing air temperature while increasing moisture content. Cooling potential therefore depends on outdoor temperature and humidity.
What changes in practice?
Cooling with outdoor air
Outdoor air is cooled before entering the building. Its distribution and discharge route are planned together.
A realistic comfort target
The aim is improved comfort. Applications without tight temperature or humidity limits are the starting point for assessment.
Operation planned from the outset
Operating hours, airflow needs, water management and maintenance form part of the selection.
Is it suitable for your project?
Local summer design temperature and relative humidity, internal heat gains, comfort targets, water quality and available air outlets all matter. Humid weather can limit performance. Water circuits and pads require regular care. Moisture-sensitive products or processes need a separate suitability assessment.
MARK COLDSTREAM
MARK COLDSTREAM is an adiabatic cooling solution using outdoor air passing through water-wetted pads. Unit placement, air distribution, water connections and controls are defined for the project.
Common questions
Does it perform like compressor-based air conditioning?
The operating principle is different. Supply temperature depends on outdoor conditions and moisture increases. It is not an automatic substitute for precise temperature and humidity control.
Is supplying air into a closed space enough?
No. Supplied air needs a suitable route out. Mechanical extraction or natural outlets must be coordinated with the supply.
What do we need for a selection?
Start with the site location, summer comfort issue, operating hours, building dimensions and any humidity-sensitive processes.
The scenario is illustrative, not a completed project reference. Final selection and scope are confirmed against current manufacturer data.
